Our Dog Park is Re-Opening June 17 at 10 AM to coincide with the Governor’s Phase 2 Re-Opening across the state. We have really missed all our friends – 4- and 2-legged – and can’t wait to see all of you – at a safe distance – soon! While having the park closed was painful, we made good use of the time by making some wonderful improvements. SWINGING THROUGH THE STACKS The Woodbridge Dog Park Cooperative was thrilled to be invited to participate in this fun-filled fundraiser for the Woodbridge Public Library on March 8 and 9. The ten-hole mini-golf course wound its way through all three levels of the library providing challenges, fun and lots of laughs for all ages and skill levels. Orange Ale House Fundraising Event On Saturday afternoon March 2 despite a very snowy morning, more than 85 dog park supporters gathered at the Orange Ale House to share fun, food, and the chance to win one of the more than 55 raffle items donated by 49 area businesses (see complete list below). The amazing gift baskets and gift cards included treats for canines and humans young and old. Woodbridge Dog Lover Passes Away The Woodbridge Community of dog lovers lost one of their own recently when Robert Schulz passed away on Nov. 27 at the age of 70. According to his obituary, Bob was a retired attorney who also enjoyed a professional life that included being a chemical engineer, a maple syrup entrepreneur, and an “enthusiastic dog sitter”. According to his family, Bob never met at dog he didn’t like. And, as we all know, anyone who is a devoted dog lover, must be a great person! Our First Event: PUPkin Fest Our First Event: The First Annual Great PUPkin Fest was a huge success. As part of the Town’s month-long Fallapalooza, the PUPkin Fest was held on the Woodbridge Green on a fine fall day and brought together friends and neighbors and lots of happy kids and dogs for a day filled with fun, games, food, and puppy kisses.
